Courtney was amazing. She was very communicative and understanding. The home was quaint and just what we needed. We had a wonderful time. Things to note: The loft is very basic, mattress and two lamps, don’t let it surprise you. But it was the best sleeping mattress in the whole house. I think some wall sconces that look like lanterns by the bed would be very suitable for the space. The rooms are small, but perfect. The space heaters def helped with the chilly nights. Everything is labeled. The hot water takes a minute to warm up, but it does. Be patient. The creek was perfect, my kids loved it. The directions in the message were right on, even at night with snowing coming down. Over all it was a wonderful experience. We would def stay here again!

The hosts of this property were super welcoming and friendly. We had a water issue one day and their response was super fast and they tried their best to make sure we were comfortable. They had all the amenities that were needed plus some. We actually said we would stay here yearly just to get the peace and serenity this property offered. We loved it!

The historic cabin could not have been better. It was spotless and the host made sure to answer all questions we had promptly. Our fur baby loved the cabin and the area. The host had a basket of balls for her to play with. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay to be perfect. The area around the cabin was beautiful. I sat by the creek every day. I’m ready to plan my next trip. Thank you to the hosts for being so nice.

Absolutely beautiful and stunning cabin! This was by far our favorite place we have ever stayed! Peaceful and serene. Exactly what we needed to unwind and unplug. We honestly stayed at the cabin the entire time with the exception of going into town to get groceries and driving around Asheville one day with our furbabies. Drinking coffee in the morning while listening to the creek was my favorite! Relaxing in the hot tub at night was the perfect way to ending our nights after spending the day hiking the trails with our dogs. Our dogs absolutely loved all the smells from the trails and exploring the creek. All the board games they provide was also a plus! The hosts also had really everything you needed to cook/grill. We could go on forever about how amazing this cabin is. We would absolutely love to come back!

Cool place to unwind
It was 100 degrees when I left home so the heavily shaded property was the perfect place to cool down. Many trails are still closed so I took advantage of the close proximity to Asheville and the Parkway to shop the art galleries and dine out with my dog. Wicked Weed and Louella’s barbecue were my go to places. When it rained, I enjoyed reading on the front porch. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I was surprised by the great water pressure. The tap water is delicious! The hosts communicated quickly when I needed something. I would happily stay again!
