Perfect Location to Asheville, Smoky Mtns, Hiking

This is essentially a lot like camping. There is no refrigerator, the shower is outside on a deck so plan for that when it’s cold, the bathroom is also not in the house. The toilet is in an outhouse in the yard. You may also want to bring extra towels if you were staying more than one day because they only gave us one set of towels. Our lantern, which was our only source of light in our bedroom, in our bedroom was out of batteries. One of the lamps downstairs also did not work. The only way to cook is on a butane torch camping stove. Also pack light because it is indeed a very tiny home. If you are into camping, it is basically a similar experience.

We had a great time spending the night in this cozy tiny home. The outdoor shower was a fun experience, and we loved that it was still an enclosed space. I would highly recommend checking out the trail too!

This place was great to stay at! It has a beautiful "secret garden" and a very relaxing porch and outdoor shower! The only problem was that the host didn't know much about the place, and had to ask us to send a picture every time we asked a basic clarifying question. There is also no mini-fridge, and the electric cooler there is broken, so you have to go get ice which sucks. The host did offer to reimburse us for ice, but it was definitely a hassle to go and get it and empty the cooler. A mini-fridge or working electric cooler would be a great addition. But otherwise this place was great, would recommend!
